REDA vehicle restraints use a rotary hook mechanism to securely engage a truck's ICC bar (rear impact guard), preventing trailer creep, early departure, and trailer tip-over. When integrated with the REDA PLC control system, the dock leveler cannot operate until the restraint is engaged — a critical safety interlock.
